Midget  "Rep"

(Born in 2000/01/02)
One game ice session per week

 Two unshared practice ice sessions per week

 One development ice session per week (20+ sessions per season)

with a professional development coach

= Three ice sessions per week plus "away" games*

*Please note, you will experience ice cancellations over the course of the season

due to tournaments and other events that are scheduled at the arenas.  

This is 'normal' and is factored into our pricing.

$859 per season if you register by July 31

Goalies with own equipment pay $559 (no goalie rebate form required)

No additional Rep tryout fee

Note - "Rep" fees are in addition to the registration  fee

and are collected once teams are finalized.

Midget "Rep" fees will include $50.00

for development.

Goals for the Midget Age Category Are

Having Fun
 Refining of team play and team strategy 

Approximately 35% of practice time is spent on technical skills,

15% is spent on individual tactics, 20% is spent on team tactics

15% is spend on team play and 15% on strategy

Sports Credits

The Ministry of Tourism, Sport and the Arts v Sport Branch through the External Credentials Sports Program has made it possible for high school students to receive graduation credits for external athlete, coach and official courses. These external courses must be approved by the Ministry of Education
1. Applicant completes the form and mails or faxes to the BC Hockey Office, along with verification of practical experience if applying as a coach or official; see below.
2. BC Hockey verifies eligibility.
3. BC Hockey mails or faxes response direct to school contact.

Officials Eligibility Guidelines
Grade 11: Level II *50 hrs of practical experience

Grade 12: Level III *100 hrs of practical experience
* Students must supply verification of practical experience signed by local Referee in Chief or District Referee Committee Member.
Coach Eligibility Guidelines
Grade 11: Level I NCCP Theory, First Aid Certification

* 75 hours of coaching

Grade 12: Level I NCCP certification (Theory, Technical, Practical), First Aid and
Athletic Taping Certification

* 150 hours of coaching
* Student must supply verification of practical experience signed by an NCCP certified coach.
