Power Skating Clinic with Ryan Campbell

Richmond Minor is pleased to announce Ryan Campbell as our new Power Skating Instructor.

Ryan’s family has owned and operated Two Way Hockey since 2006.

Ryan’s coaching methodology and drills focus on power skating, stamina, speed, and agility.   His program is progressive in nature – starting with player skill appropriate drills, moving to fast paced high impact game speed movements.

One of the most recent success stories of a player that trained with Ryan and Two Way Hockey is Dante Fabro.   Fabro the (Burnaby Winter Club) product was drafted 17th overall this past off season by the NHL’s Nashville Predators.  Fabro finished the 2015-16 season with Penticton Vee’s of the BCHL.

Ryan is currently the coach of Atom A1 team in West Vancouver, has been working as a skating coach and skills developer with West Van Minor Hockey since 2014.  This past spring Ryan was the head coach and power skating instructor for the Spartans 2005 program.  Since 2013 Ryan has worked with BWC’s Atom A1, Peewee A1 and A2 teams in skills development and power skating.

With the growth in young players wanting specialised programs, Ryan has also been working with different players from BWC, North Shore Winter Club, Thunderbirds and Richmond Minor Hockey (H4, Atom, and Peewee) doing private or small group power skating and agility sessions.

Ryan comes to Richmond Minor highly recommended and will be very valuable in helping develop our children.
